Dyantyi Out for Six Weeks
Up and coming Lions winger Aphiwe Dyantyi will be out for six weeks with a torn pectoral muscle. The injury was sustained in the Lions’ 49-35 loss to the Jaguares last weekend.
Dyantyi has caught the eye with his sparkling early-season form.
He is now set to miss matches against the Stormers, Sharks, Rebels and Highlanders.
The young wing has been impressive this season, running 209 metres from 22 carries, beating 14 defenders in the process, and scoring three tries in the Lions’ opening two matches.
