Folau Banned For One Match
Australian & Waratah full-back Israel Folau has been suspended for one match after he was found guilty of making contact in the air against Ireland.
Folau and Rugby Australia immediately appealed the result of the judicial enquiry, with the appeal set to be heard either on Thursday or on Friday morning.
Should the appeal be successful, Folau could still play for the Waratahs in the Super Rugby clash with the Rebels in Melbourne on Friday.
Folau was yellow-carded and then later given a citing commissioner’s warning over two aerial contests in the third Test against the Irish.
